EDUCATION
Dr. George S. Tu attended University of California, Irvine for his undergraduate studies and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1994. He completed his internship and residency, as well as his pulmonary/critical care fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Tu has been practicing as a pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician since 2000. He also serves as Director of the Critical Care and Immediate Past Chief of Staff at Summerlin Hospital. In June 2015, Comprehensive Cancer Centers and Lung Center of Nevada joined forces creating an entire division dedicated to lung disease and sleep disorders.

As part of Sleep Center of Nevada, a division of Comprehensive Cancer Centers and Lung Center of Nevada, Dr. Tu treats patients with sleep disorders including Insomnia, Periodic Limb Movements of Sleep (PLMS), REM Behavior Disorders (RBD), Sleep Apnea, among others.

Dr. Tu is currently Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and has written and contributed to several peer-reviewed manuscripts, publications and abstracts. He has received numerous awards and honors including Medical Marvels by Nevada Business Magazine, Top Doctors by Vegas Seven and Vegas Inc. Health Care Quarterly. Additionally, he has received Outstanding Clinical Fellow Award for excellence in teaching patient care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, John Franklin Award for excellence in internal medicine and Eastern Virginia Medical School Alumni Association Award.
