What is Sleep Center at Comprehensive?
Sleep Center at Comprehensive, a division of Comprehensive Cancer Centers and Lung Center of Nevada, is an entire division dedicated to evaluating, educating and diagnosing patients with sleep disorders. The division’s goal is to more efficiently help patients, including those with cancer, gain more thorough access to the health benefits associated with good sleep.

Meet the Team at Sleep Center at Comprehensive
The Sleep Center of Comprehensive team strives to provide the highest quality of facilities and patient care, delivered by its team of physicians, who are all experienced in treating patients with sleep disorders including snoring, insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea, among many others.
Prior to joining Sleep Center at Comprehensive, Sapna Bhatia, MD was a hospitalist physician at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She has authored and co-authored various publications and participated in a number of poster and oral presentations. She also lectured and participated in numerous academic teaching opportunities on pulmonary disease and sleep disorders.
Nisarg Changawala, MD, MPH is a pulmonologist at Lung Center of Nevada and Sleep Center at Comprehensive who treats patients with lung disease and sleep disorders including asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, chronic cough, nicotine dependence, snoring, insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Changawala has authored various articles and participated in a number of research studies focusing on pulmonary disease. He was an instructor for internal medicine board review lectures and has facilitated simulation scenarios in advanced cardiac life support, rapid response team, central venous catheter placement and airway management.
As part of Lung Center of Nevada and Sleep Center at Comprehensive, John (Jack) Collier, MD, FCCP, DABSM treats patients with lung disease and sleep disorders including asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, chronic cough, nicotine dependence, snoring, insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Collier serves as Medical Director of the Sleep Center and the ICU Director at Complex Care Hospital at Tenaya. He has served on the Board of Trustees at MountainView Hospital for the past 15 years and was Chief of Staff at MountainView Hospital from 2007-2009.
Dr. Collier has written several publications and abstracts and was awarded the Soloman Scholar Excellence in Resident Research award and Rubenstein Presentation Excellence in Original Research award. Dr. Collier has also been named Top Doctor by publications include Vegas Seven and Vegas Inc. Health Care Quarterly.
James S. J. Hsu, MD, FCCP, DABSM is a pulmonologist at the Lung Center of Nevada and Sleep Center at Comprehensive. He serves as Director of Respiratory Therapy and Chief of the Pulmonary Division at Southern Hills Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians.
As part of Sleep Center at Comprehensive, Dr. Hsu treats patients with disorders including snoring, insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea and others.
Part of Sleep Center at Comprehensive, a division of Comprehensive Cancer Centers and Lung Center of Nevada, Ralph M. Nietrzeba, MD, FCCP, FACP has been practicing as a pulmonologist since 1982. He is Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians and serves as Associate Medical Director of the Pulmonary Department and Director of the Pulmonary Function Lab at Southern Hills Hospital, Mountain View Hospital and Sunrise Hospital.
George S. Tu, MD, FCCP, DABSM has been practicing as a pulmonologist at Lung Center of Nevada since 2000. He also treats patients with sleep disorders at Sleep Center at Comprehensive and serves as Director of the Critical Care and Immediate Past Chief of Staff at Summerlin Hospital.
Dr. Tu is currently Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and has written and contributed to several peer-reviewed manuscripts, publications and abstracts. He has received numerous awards and honors including Medical Marvels by Nevada Business Magazine, Top Doctors by Vegas Seven and Vegas Inc. Health Care Quarterly. Additionally, he has received Outstanding Clinical Fellow Award for excellence in teaching patient care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, John Franklin Award for excellence in internal medicine and Eastern Virginia Medical School Alumni Association Award.
John Wojcik, MD, FCCP, DABSM is pulmonologist at Lung Center of Nevada and also treats patients with sleep disorders at Sleep Center at Comprehensive. He is a graduate of The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital Center. He is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians. He has been in practice since 1997.
