Our facilities also meet standards of patient acceptance, facility and equipment, policies and procedures, data acquisition, patient evaluation, charting, emergency procedures, education, and quality assurance. The Sleep Center at Comprehensive strives to provide the highest quality of facilities and patient care available.

There are a number of sleep disorders that can decrease a person’s quality of life and can cause problems if left untreated, including:

Sleep Apnea is a common sleep disorder caused by the soft tissue in the throat falling and blocking the airway. When this happens, our bodies naturally wake us up briefly to open the airway so we can breathe again. Sleep Apnea can cause complications down the road if not treated early. Treatment options range from machines that help with breathing to surgery. A board certified sleep medicine physician at Lung Center of Nevada will provide options to help determine which treatment is best for each individual patient.
